Welcome to LA, Outdoor Voices!
I am just bubbling over with excitement while writing this because I am SO excited one of the top brands I've been eyeing, Outdoor Voices, just opened their doors in LA. They dipped their toes in the Los Angeles market with a pop-up at The Grove this summer, and now have a permanent store on Melrose Avenue. I stopped by yesterday and snapped a few photos so you guys could get a mini tour of the aesthetically pleasing boutique.
Upon walking into the store you immediately get a wash of welcoming zen energy. The warm Los Angeles sunshine flooding through the windows, the bright pops of color throughout, and the calming sound of a water fountain all create a magical little space in bustling Melrose Place.
Architect Will Fox, along with the team at McGuire Moorman, and Outdoor Voices CEO, Tyler Haney (aka the ultimate girlboss) captured LA's wellness obsession with incorporating crystals throughout the store, and multiple seating areas perfect for groups of Runyon Canyon hikers and dog walkers alike to drink their matcha lattes and discus their next #DoingThings adventure.
OV introduced Tech Sweat pieces in candy colored hues exclusively to the LA store before making them available online. The tech sweat fabric developed for sweatier activities has a silky smooth feel comparatively to their original Textured Compression tonal texture fabric.
The LA location carries two tones of bright pink and grey "Los Angeles" printed tees and long sleeves.
Also available are an assortment of accessories including Spalwart Marathon Trail shoes, District Vision sunglasses, hats, and OV printed Nalgene bottles.
I've been hearing some buzz about "OV Kits" for awhile now and now I know why. You get to build an outfit from the Kit Shop by choosing a top and a bottom, and the total is $100. An absolute steal if you ask me.
