WeWoreWhat ACTIVE by Danielle Bernstein launching 8/19/20
I’ve got the 411 on Danielle Bernstein’s new activewear launch (the newest category to the Shop WeWoreWhat brand) and we’re SO excited.
3 styles. 6 prints. 5 solids. and even a yoga mat!

the 3 STYLES
HIGHWAIST LEGGINGS + BANDEAU bra top
This is the only style the 6 prints come in. It looks like the designs are printed onto white fabric so when you move and stretch, the white shows through and the patterns look faded. It’s not super super noticeable, but rather have you know than be disappointed! That being said, with this collection I would recommend sticking to the patterns with white backgrounds - silhouettes or cowhide. The snakeskin print looks light enough to not be noticeable either. This is super common for patterned activewear so don’t worry! I’ve worked with some brands that use printed fabric and they’ve suggested sizing up to help this.
To avoid this:
- Stick to prints with white or lighter backgrounds (cowhide, silhouettes + snakeskin )
- Sizing up can help
The bandeau bra top is double lined (no padding), she says this one is the more supportive of the two bra styles, and would be so cute doubled as a crop top! 🤍
Also, if the prints look familiar it’s because they are rollover from some of her swim lines. Genius!
2. SEAMLESS LEGGINGS + V-NECK BRA TOP
This style comes in 3 of the solid colors. It looks like there is ribbed detailing on the waist band and the sides of the bra top, but the entire fabric isn’t ribbed. She has been wearing this set in the cinnamon stick color non-stop. From what I’ve seen this is a completely different fabric so doesn’t have the same issue as the printed fabrics. I am really excited to try these out. I only wish the seamless set wasn’t $40 more than the other styles!
I’ve never tried a top with this cut so am interested to see what it looks like on me! Danielle says this top is the less supportive one of the two.
3. LACE-UP leggings + BANDEAU bra top
I’m not as excited for this lace up style because its something we’ve seen before. I first saw lace up leggings from Year Of Ours in 2016. Danielle also came out with a lace up legging in her second installment of her Bandier x Strut This collab the same year, four years ago. But, this style looks amazing on people!
I do love the matching bra tops this style is paired with, especially if you love more muted tones! It’s the same bandeau top style as the printed one and looks flattering on everyone I’ve seen it on. 😍

So what will I be buying?
For sure the highwaist set in silhouettes and the seamless set in cinnamon stick. I may also splurge on the cowhide set (because hello I’ll match Ziggy! 🐶) and the yoga mat but your girl is balling on a budget sooo we’ll see. Stay tuned for the full review once they come in!
